Reasearch into Caring Science
An evolving ethical and epistemic field of study, grounded in the discipline of caring
Integrated Caring Science Research Group is an evolving ethical and epistemic field of study, grounded in the discipline of caring and informed by a range of related fields.
Researchers in this group deliver research and consultancy on learning to care, addressing issues arising from frailty in the elderly, resilience among staff and student populations, the impact of CPD on practice/integrated care outcomes, and the history of nursing.
Their work has focused on the benefits of innovative health teaching techniques such as forum theatre, patient and public participation, simulation and enabling digital proficiencies. The group aspires to explore health roles and caring within diagnostics in the future.
